Build your investor profile, then browse investors near you in Discover. Each profile shows a compatibility score. Tap Connect on people you'd like to talk to — when they connect back it's a match and you can message each other.

We compare your profile with each investor across factors including distance, investment type, interests, available capital, investment range, experience, timeframe, risk appetite, goals, preferred location and what you each want in a partner. Each factor is weighted and combined into a single percentage. If either of you hasn't answered a question it's left out, so it never counts against you.

Other Mella members can see your investor profile, photo, first name, approximate distance and general area. Your exact location, email address and phone number are never shown. You can hide yourself from Discover in Settings → Privacy.

To keep Mella free of unsolicited messages, you can only message investors you've matched with — meaning you've both tapped Connect.

Open the conversation or their profile, tap the menu (•••) and choose Unmatch. The conversation will close for both of you.

Open their profile or your conversation, tap the menu (•••) and choose Report or Block. Reports go to our team and are usually reviewed within 24 hours. Blocking hides you from each other immediately.

Never send money to someone you've only met online. Meet in a public place first, check credentials, put agreements in writing and take independent legal and financial advice. Be cautious of anyone promising guaranteed returns or pressuring you to act quickly.

Go to Profile → Get verified and upload a photo of your passport, driving licence or national ID plus a selfie. Our team reviews submissions, usually within 48 hours. Your documents are stored securely and never shown to other members.

Premium gives you unlimited connection requests, lets you see who's interested in you, unlocks advanced filters and the full compatibility breakdown, and gives your profile priority in Discover.

Go to Settings → Subscription → Manage billing. You can cancel any time and you'll keep Premium until the end of the period you've paid for.

Go to Settings → Account → Delete account. This permanently deletes your profile, matches and messages and cannot be undone.
